The Hawaii Island Landscape Association and University of Hawaii Cooperative Extension will host the seventh annual Landscape Management Conference and Trade Show Nov. 10 at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. The event provides practical management tools for professional landscape gardeners, nurserymen, arborists, tree trimmers and property managers, and is open to the public.
The Hawaii Island Landscape Association and University of Hawaii Cooperative Extension will host the seventh annual Landscape Management Conference and Trade Show Nov. 10 at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. The event provides practical management tools for professional landscape gardeners, nurserymen, arborists, tree trimmers and property managers, and is open to the public.
Local experts from the Hawaii green industry, including Steve Nimz, a consulting arborist with 40 years of experience on Oahu, and Heidi Bornhorst, landscape designer and garden writer for Honolulu Star-Advertiser and author of “Growing Native Hawaiian Plants,” will share their knowledge.
The trade show will feature the latest products and services offered to landscapers and home gardeners, as well as up-to-date information on invasive pests and diseases. Certified landscape technicians, tree workers, arborists and restricted use pesticide applicators will also be available.
