Genevieve “Genny” Kealahikikuokalani Fellhauer, 71, of Waimea, died Sept. 9, 2017, at her home. Born with the maiden name Brighter in Honolulu, Genny had a 36-year-career in the telecommunications industry working as an engineer manager for AT&T and planning manager for Verizon in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations to North Hawaii Hospice are welcomed. Condolences may be sent to the family at P.O. Box 2131, Kamuela, HI 96743.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Hans Fellhauer of Waimea; sons, John (Teriann) Wootten and Hans (Hannah) Fellhauer, both of Texas; daughter, Kimberly Brown; sisters, Rowena (Bill) Perry, of North Carolina, Karleen (Richard) Cox, E. Kapua (Michael) Baker, Charmaine (Cy) Duvauchelle, of Kona, and Laverne Baptiste; brother, Bill (Barbara) Cummings of Nevada; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Reynette Leimomi Frasco Ah Sam, 54, of Hilo, died Sept. 16, 2017 in Bellevue, Neb. Born Feb. 14, 1963, in Hilo; she was co-owner/laborer at Black Wing Vineyard in Glenwood, Iowa, and co-owner at Vine Street Cellars in Bellevue, Neb. and a Veteran in the U.S. Air Force for nine years.
Services were held in Bellevue, Neb. and Hilo.
She is survived by husband, Ralph Ah Sam of Bellevue, Neb.; son, Ramsay Ah Sam of Bellevue, Neb.; daughter, Rianna Ah Sam of Bellevue, Neb.; mother, Melvina Rita Fernandez of Hilo; father, Reynold Frasco of Hilo; brothers, Brian (Dori) Frasco of Laupahoehoe and Myron (Ruby) Frasco of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gay Jensen
Gay Ann Jensen, 84, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 1, 2017, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Nov. 6, 1932, in Flint, Michigan, she was an artist, former member of Kailua Village Artists and Blue Sea Artisans.
Private service to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96745.
She is survived by sons, Martin (Brenda) Jensen of Boulder City, Nevada, David Jensen of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Jana (Brian) Phillips of Harbor Springs, Michigan; brother, Howard (Lou Ann) Openo of Landrum, South Carolina; four grandchildren, a great-grandson, nieces and nephews.

Shirley Tanouye
Shirley Sanae Tanouye, 81, of Pepeekeo, died Sept. 28, 2017, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Pahoa, she was retired from Cafe 100 and was a seamstress for the former Kamehameha Garments.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by daughters, Carla Mento, Diane Tanouye of Pepeekeo; brother, Richard (Joy) Seto of Hilo; sisters, Edna (Kenneth) Namba of Pearl City, Oahu, Mabel Ouchi of Palolo Valley, Oahu, Sandy (Harry) Tokuhara of Honolulu, Susan Sanoria of Pahoa; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
