Annette Mary Panos, 52, of Waikoloa, died Aug. 25, 2017. She was born in Los Angeles.

Margaret Wood

Margaret M. Wood, 96, died July 24, 2017, at her home. She was born June 14, 1921, in Omaha, Neb.

She is survived by George “Keoki” Wood (Lisa) and Mary Jane Ewing (Robert), four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Paul Caron

Mr. Paul Bradley Caron, 45, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 5, 2017, at his residence. Born on Sept. 28, 1971, in Kealakekua, he was a mason contractor and owner of Caron’s Concrete.

Celebration of life will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 7, 2017, with services starting at 10:30 a.m. at Lanihau ranch at the top of Henry Street in Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Caron of Kailua-Kona; sons, Bradley Caron, Riley Caron, and Austin Caron, all of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Maya Racine and Malia Caron of Kailua-Kona; father, Gilbert (Victoria) Caron, Sr., of Laguna Beach, Calif.; brothers, Gilbert (Jennifer) Caron, Jr., of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., Gerrad (Marika) Caron of Honolulu, Robert (Antonia) Caron of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Clayton (Martina) Caron of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joey Kainoa Gonsalves, 21, died Sept. 13, 2017, at his home in Hilo. He was born Oct. 10, 1994, in Honolulu.

Thomas Ka’ai’ai Sr.

Thomas Hauola Ka’ai’ai Sr., 85, died Sept. 7, 2017, at his home in Maunalaha Valley in Makiki, Oahu. Born Aug. 28, 1932, in Makiki, he was a retired heavy equipment operator with Hercules Construction, past member of HCRA and a member of Kaioni Canoe Club and Kailua Hawaiian Civic Canoe Club in Kailua.

Services will be 9 a.m. Oct. 17 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe with a 1 p.m. burial at the park.

He was preceded in death by wife, Joan.

He is survived by sons, Thomas Jr Kaaawa, John of Lacy Wash.. Guy of Maunalaha, Lane of Kona and Honolulu and Brian Ka’ai’ai of Reno Nev. 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren
