God will judge attacker, not court

God will judge attacker, not court

Anthony Beaudet-Close was convicted of attempted murder. His grandmother, Gay Spatz, said that he is a “sweet boy” and that the prosecutor is “vicious!” and “God’s gonna judge you.”

If Ms. Spatz thinks that God is going to judge the prosecutor for doing his job, she is in for a rude awakening as to how God is going to judge her sweet boy.

This may be part of his problem as he can do no wrong in her eyes and was not taught that it is not good to beat someone near to death. I wonder if she will go to Oahu and give her sympathy to the victim. Probably not!

Support for homeless project comes with conditions

I completely support the homeless shelter proposed by our county. I would even support a tax hike to support this plan. But first you have to convince me that you have a plan that will separate the homeless residents of Hawaii from the out of state homeless who come here with the intent to live off our aloha spirit.

There are also a lot of vagrants and bums who use up resources that should go to the truly needy. I have personally witnessed three beggars on the Walmart corner in the back parking lot laughing about how one person gave 35 cents.

These were three guys who were in better shape then me and could be working. I also was once bullied by two local bums for money. Once they realized I was local and not going to take their crap, I became uncle and they backed off.

So please, whoever is in charge of this homeless project, before you start spending our money come up with a plan that will protect our homeless and not encourage mainland homeless and bums to remain here.

If we don’t, you can be sure that other states will encourage their homeless and maybe even aid them to come to Hawaii.
