Ala Kahakai Trail Association community meeting open to the public tomorrow

The nonprofit Native Hawaiian-led association invites community members to attend the meeting from 3–5 p.m. tomorrow at Hokuloa Church in Puako. The discussion will include the trail’s history and management, current and planned activities in South Kohala, proposed trail sign and kiosk locations in the Puako/Wailea area, and their partnership with the South Kohala Coastal Partnership.

The association welcomes ideas about how the trail can better benefit the community, issues and concerns. Pupus and light refreshments will be served.
