An early morning fire Monday caused $900,000 in damage at an unoccupied warehouse in Kailua-Kona.
Fire companies from Kailua-Kona, Makalei, Keauhou, South Kohala as well as a Battalion Chief out of Waikoloa worked to extinguish the blaze inside a Kohanaiki Industrial area warehouse off Hulikoa Street.
Three of five bays were lost to the fire with two others were saved, worth around $450,000.
No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. The cause is undetermined at this time.
A vehicle towing, storage and restoration business as well as trailer sales businesses occupy the building.
