Amy Matsuzawa
Amy E. Matsuzawa, 90, of Kailua-Kona, died July 22, 2017, in Hilo. Born in Kealakekua, she was an accountant for Red Onion Restaurant and various other organizations in the Los Angeles, California area.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. on Sept. 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 11 a.m. service. Casual attire.
She is survived by brother, Frank (Jean) Fujimoto. of Honolulu; sisters-in-law, Daisy Fujimoto. of Honolulu, Nancy Fujimoto. of Kailua-Kona, and Lillian Fujimoto. of California, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alan Shattuck
Alan Hale Shattuck, 83, of Waimea, died Aug. 2, 2017, at his residence. Born Sept. 3, 1933, in Gowanda, New York, he was a business partner in the Waipio Valley Artworks in Kukuihaele, U.S. Air Force veteran and alumnus at Virginia Military Institute.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 9 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea for a 10 a.m. Mass. Inurnment with military honors will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 28 at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona. A reception will follow at Anna’s Ranch in Waimea. In lieu of flowers, Alan requested that contributions be made to North Hawaii Hospice at 65-1328 Kawaihae Rd., Kamuela, HI. 96743.
He is survived by wife, Mary Shattuck, of Waimea; sons, Michael (Suzanne) Shattuck, of Waimea, and Kelly (Linda) Shattuck, of Phoenix; daughter, Kasey Shattuck, of Waimea; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Grace “Megun” Megumi Williges, 56, of Pahoa, died Aug. 29, 2017, at Pohai Malama. Born Jan. 13, 1961, in Paterson, New Jersey, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by spouse, Daniel Holland, of Pahoa; daughters, Laura Holland, Dillon (Robert Bright) Holland, and Angela Holland, all of Pahoa; father, Gustav Williges, of San Francisco; brother, Dan Williges, of San Francisco; two grandchildren.
