Mabel Bugado
Mabel Teves Bugado, 96, of Honokaa, died July 20, 2017, at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. Born Dec. 4, 1920, in Honokaa, she was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and the Honokaa Senior Citizens.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. on Sept. 9 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for an 11 a.m. Mass; urn burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
She is survived by daughters, LaVerne (George) Sharp, of Honokaa and Janice (Randy) Fox, of Kona; grandchildren, Ricky (Kristine) Sharp, of Illinois, Alan (Agnes) Sharp and Cindy (Paul) Aceret, all of Honokaa, Cameron (Tomi) Rivera of Kailua, Oahu, and Sierra (Tyler) Fox, of Washington; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Doris Hanoa
Doris Tokiko Hanoa, 81, of Hilo, died Aug. 12, 2017, at her residence. She was born in Honolulu and was the owner of Bob’s Fencing Inc and a member of the Hilo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Casual attire.
She is survived by daughter, Delphine Remmers, of Hilo; brothers, Toshio (Karen) Eshima and Richard (Jean) Eshima, all of Honolulu; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hisao Okimoto
Hisao “Jim” Okimoto, 85, of Papaikou, died Aug. 9, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Onomea, he was a retired dispatcher for HPM Building Supply and member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission and Onomea Kumiai.
Private services were held.
He is survived by wife, Asayo Okimoto, of Papaikou; daughters, Coleen Okimoto and Claudia Okimoto, both of Papaikou; brother, George Okimoto, of Kaneohe, Oahu; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wai Lin Weiler
Wai Lin “Salina” Weiler, 67, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 27, 2017. She was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Hong Kong.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by spouse, Peter; brother, Richard Wong and Bing Cheund Wong, of Hong Kong; and sister Cindy Chung, of Sydney, Australia.
