Masuto Miyamoto
Masuto Miyamoto, 98, of Hilo died June 10, 2017, at his residence. Born in Hilo, he worked as a warehouse clerk for the former Theo H. Davies &Co. and retired as a salesman from the former T. Hara &Co., Ltd., former Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 19, and member of the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Kyodan.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. on July 29 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. The family requests casual attire be worn and that flowers and koden (monetary gifts) be omitted.
He is survived by wife, Umeno Miyamoto, of Hilo; sons, Brent Miyamoto, of Honolulu, and Clifford Miyamoto, of Hilo; daughter, Elaine Miyamoto, of Hilo; brother, Takeshi (Fay) Miyamoto, of Aiea, Oahu; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leo Adonis
Leo Michael Adonis, also known as Gregory Michael Ure, 38, of Washington, California and Hawaii, died July 8, 2017, in Volcano.
He was a graduate of San Diego State University with teaching credentials.
He is survived by mother, Carla Jean Tooker; father, John Michael Ure; grandparents, Betty (John) Regan; sister, Shannon Lee Cobur; Steven (Debbie) Ure, Dennis (Debi) Ure, Chan’te Lisa Regan, Jerry (Dena) Regan, and Russell Schach; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Emi Takauye
Emi Takauye, 83, of Kailua-Kona, died May 18, 2017, on Oahu. Born in Volcano, she was a retired secretary for the Department of Agriculture and member of Kona Hongwanji Mission, Kailua-Shita Kumiai, Keopu Citizen Club, Kona Hiroshima Kenjin Kai &BPW.
A private service was held in Honolulu. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
She is survived by son, Kenn (Catherine) Takauye; daughter, Janis Takauye; brothers, George (Shizuko) Yamamoto and Akira Yamamoto; sisters, Teruko Fujioka and Kazue Hanabusa; one grandchild.
