Samuel Hussey Jr.
Samuel Kuuipo Nohea Hussey Jr., 67, of Kailua-Kona, died June 20, 2017, at Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. Born Feb. 26, 1950, he was a chef.
Friends may call from 4:30-6:15 p.m. on July 23 at Old Kona Aiport for services. The family requests attendees bring a photo to share, as well as a lei.
He is survived by son, Keanu Hussey, of Lahaina, Maui; sister, Dawn Gui of Kailua-Kona; brothers, William Hussey and Jeremiah Hussey, both of Kailua-Kona; and mother Natalia Alamedia, of Kailua-Kona.

Robert Ranstrom
Robert William Ranstrom, 64, of Pahoa, died June 23, 2017, at his residence. Born July 12, 1952, in Alamosa, Colorado, he was a horticulturalist.
Services will be held at a later date on the Big Island and in Washington.
He is survived by companion, Patricia Davidson, of Cobourg, Ontario, Canada; mother, Almita Ranstrom, of Vashon, Washington; sister, Patricia Ranstrom, of Vashon, Washington; brother, John Ranstrom of Austin, Texas; nieces; grandniece and grandnephews.

Norman Masatsugi Oga
Norman Masatsugi Oga, 92 of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died July 10, 2017, in Kailua-Kona. Born April 30, 1924, in Hilo, he worked as an interpreter for Civil Defense in Japan.
Private services will be held.
He is survived by brother, Masanobu Oga, of Captain Cook.
