Knitting &Knitting Support is every Tuesday from 12:30—3 p.m. with Gretchen Geisler, lifetime knitter. This class is for all skill levels ages 10 to adult. Bring projects, get knitting questions answered and visit with other knitters. Beginners will be guided into a suitable project.
Freedom from Pain Support Group meets from 12:30-2 p.m. every Thursday with Cynthia Magg, EFT practitioner. Say “adios” to aches and pains that deplete energy and disrupt your life. Join this weekly EFT tapping support group. Whether the pain is old, new, acute, injury or disease-related, quality of life can be improved. Weekly sessions are combined with mind-body-emotions concepts that will empower participants to access the body’s innate ability to self-heal. No prior EFT experience is necessary. Newcomers are always welcome.
Chair Yoga meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Fridays with Michiko Sato, CYT. This gentle, yoga-in-a-chair practice is designed to stretch and strengthen the body without standing or lying on a mat. Class may also include some easy standing poses behind the chair.
Overeaters Anonymous is held from noon-1 p.m. every Friday. OA is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors. OA welcomes anyone who wishes to stop eating compulsively.
Scrabble Meetup gathers from 1:30-4 p.m. Fridays with Annabel Spielman. Word lovers of every age and skill level are encouraged to play this classic game with relaxed rules. Dictionary use is permitted. The game is a great way to retain and expand vocabulary, spelling, memory and observation skills in a congenial atmosphere.
