Also, Seraphim Benoist of Honokaa and Jaclyn Sorbets of Waimea were named to the school’s spring honor roll. A GPA of 3.5-3.9 is required for this distinction.

Western Oregon University reports it is the top mainland university for Native Hawaiian or other Pacific islander students, according to a February report in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
