From 9 a.m. to noon this Tuesday, the annual event will be held at Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena. The events will kick off with the traditional parade highlighting the town’s paniolo heritage including other nearby ranches.

Other activities are ¼-mile, 1/8-mile and relay horse races, ranch mugging and team roping. Booths will feature Village Burger, Hina Rae’s, Hula Mama’s Funnel Cakes and Fried Oreos and Aunty Peaches Onolicious Poi Balls, crafts, North Hawaii Little League and Waimea Athletics. Horse rides and a petting zoo will be available for keiki. Parker Ranch will honor cattleman and rancher James Greenwell.

Tickets are $7 in advance at Parker Ranch Store, or $10 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free. Info: Call 885-7311
