Bernadette Lawrence

Bernadette Theresa Lawrence, 70, of Ainaloa died May 31, 2017, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker.

Friends may call from 5–6 p.m. June 14 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. prayer services. Burial will take place at 8 a.m. June 16 at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.

She is survived by son, Syrus (Tracey Andrade) Reyes of Honolulu; daughters, Candice (Chester Leialoha) Reyes of Hilo, Raelyn (Dwayne) Iopa of Mountain View, Tanya Reyes, Laura (Derek Kiyabu) Reyes, all of Las Vegas; brothers, Everett Lawrence of Virginia, Frank (Claudia) Lawrence of Mountain View, Patrick (Phyllis) Lawrence of Honomu; sisters, Doreen (James) Namahoe of Hilo, Kathleen Ke of Pahala; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tricia-Lani Au

Tricia-Lani (McNicoll) Au 61, of Hilo, died May 14, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kailua-Kona, she was an executive assistant at the Lyman House Museum.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on June 17 at Church of Holy Apostles, 1407 Kapiolani St., in Hilo.

She is survived by brothers Tadman McNicoll of Holualoa and Martyn McNicoll of Hilo; son Brannock Au Jr; daughters Shawnna-Lei Au and Calenna-Lani Au; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Nancy O’Connell

Nancy Elizabeth O’Connell, 93, of Kailua-Kona died May 21, 2017. Born Jan. 3, 1924, in Santa Ana, Calif., she was a public school teacher for the state of California.

She is survived by daughter, Nancy MacGregor of Kailua-Kona; one granddaughter; one grandson; three great-grandchildren.

Jadelyn Ramos

Jadelyn “Ga” Hoonanea Ramos, 67, of Waimea died June 2, 2017, at Kona Community Hospital. Born March 27, 1950, in Laupahoehoe, she was a homemaker, caregiver and member of Mauka Mamas.

She is survived by mother, Ethel Andrade of Waimea; daughters, Kristina (Chuck) Erskine of Waiakea, Katharine (Brent) Foster of Oceanside, Calif., Kara (Bronson Sylva) Ramos of Waimea; eight grandchildren.

Ronald McIntosh Jr.

Ronald “Ronnie” McIntosh Jr., 64, of Kealakekua, died May 24, 2017, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Aug. 19, 1952, in Honolulu, he was a caregiver and former waiter for Hale Koa Hotel and Kona Surf Resort. He was also a landscaper for Kona Village Resort.

Private service held.

He is survived by sister, Carol (Bruce) Clifford of Kealakekua; numerous nephews.
