Patricia Alviar
Patricia Ann Nalani Alviar, 70, of Waimea died May 26, 2017, at her residence. Born on Aug. 31, 1946, in Honolulu, she was a homemaker.
Services were held.
She is survived by sons, Matthew (Shannon) Alviar of Washington and Paul Alviar of Waimea; daughters, Sherry (Brent) Dombrowski of Maryland, Sandy (David) Andrade and Sharlene (Jason) Hosek of Hawaii; father, Harry Pagan of Fairfield, Calif.; brothers, Harrison Pagan and Michael (Pacia) Pagan of Hawaii, Kawika (Gladys) Pagan of Las Vegas; sisters, Sandra (John) Sharke and Wandalyn Conger of Hawaii; seven grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Lillian Bungula
Lillian K. Bungula, 74, of Waimea died May 23, 2017, in Texas. Born June 11, 1942, in Kona, she was an office helper and driver for the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council.
Friends may call for visitation from 9-10 a.m. June 7 at the Hilo Church of God with a 10 a.m. service. Casual attire; burial at Alae Cemetery, new section.
She is survived by sons, Albert Bungula, Robet Bungula, Robert Bungula and Kelcey Bungula, all of Hilo, Alex Bungula of Houston; daughters, Sandy Perreira of Waimea, April Bungula of Hilo; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Lewi Sr. of Hilo; sister, Charlotte Lewi-Hinomiya of Pahoa; one uncle; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Geraldine Damasco
Geraldine Rapozo Damasco, 83, of Hilo died May 21, 2017, at home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired store manager for the former Love N Lace and volunteered at the Simply Said Wedding Store. She was also a member of the First United Protestant Church.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. June 8 at he Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 1 p.m. June 9 at Homelani Memorial Park for graveside committal services. The family requests that casual attire be worn.
She is survived by daughter, Debra (Randal) Payao of Hilo; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Jitsuo Sumiki
Jitsuo “Jits” Sumiki, 84, of Hilo died May 25, 2017, at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation &Nursing Center. Born in Papaikou, he was retired from the County of Hawaii Department of Sewers and Sanitation, a former ice cream maker at Meadow Gold and member of Hilo Meishoin.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Cremation to follow. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by daughter, Joyce (Ivan) Nakagawa of Hilo; son, Dean Sumiki of Hilo; brother, Satoshi (Luana) Sumiki of Hilo; sisters, Rhoda Sumiki, Dale (Dennis) Kunimitsu of Honolulu; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Elroy Silva
Elroy Silva, 76, of Kurtistown died May 14, 2017, at home. Born June 8, 1940, in Paauilo, he was a proprietor of an automobile repair shop.
