EBT cards to experience downtime Monday

People using Electronic Benefit Cards between 1 and 6 a.m. on Monday may experience downtime.

The state Department of Human Services began converting the system from the current vendor on Thursday to a new vendor, Fidelity Information Services Government Solutions. The conversion should be complete Monday.

EBT users should avoid making transactions during those morning hours. They may resume regular use of the cards after 6 a.m. on Monday.

EBT cardholders experiencing issues beyond 6 a.m. on Monday should call (888) 328-4292. Limited helpline service will be available to EBT cardholders during the downtime period early Monday.
