Albert Imoto
Albert T. Imoto, 87, of Hilo died May 3, 2017, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired regional sales manager for the former Aloha Airlines.
Friends may call 4:30–6 p.m. May 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. celebration of his life. Aloha attire.
He is survived by wife, Lorena Imoto of Hilo; son, Guy Imoto of Hilo; daughters, Jody (Randal) Usui of Hilo; Cecily (Howard) Higa of Kaneohe, Oahu; hanai daughter, Joana Magno of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Grace Kazuko Cullio, 85, of Mountain View died May 2, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolii, she was retired from the former Pacific Machinery.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts.
She is survived by sisters, Pearl (James) Santos, Amy (Darien) Chung, both of Los Angeles, Florence Andrzejewski of San Jose, Calif., Jane (Clyde) Leite of Georgetown, Fla., Lala Ostermeyer of Honolulu; nieces and nephews.

Hatsue Mento
Hatsue “Aunty H” Mento, 92, of Paukaa died April 29, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a homemaker, retired co-owner of the former Mento Service Station, and member of Ijun, Hui Okinawa, and So-Shin Kai Koto Club.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. May 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
She is survived by husband, Kameichi Mento; daughter, Gloria Mento; sons, Dennis Mento, Milton Mento, Michael (Terry Aina) Mento; brother, Koichi Okuda of Okinawa; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Suyeko Nishina
Suyeko Nishina, 99, of Holualoa died April 7, 2017, at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Kainaliu, she was a homemaker and a member of Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Buddhist Women’s Association, and Kahaluu Kumiai.
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. May 20 at Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Kealakekua, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. The family requests casual attire worn, flowers be omitted, and no koden.
She is survived by sons, Wilfred (Pauline) Nishina of Sacramento, Calif., Clayton (Nona) Nishina of Kealakekua, and Melvin (Eva) Nishina of Hilo; daughters, Jill (Larry) Tanaka of Kaloko, Pauline (Robert) Goodwin of Kealakehe, and Patsy (Juergen Naggert) Nishina of Bar Harbor, Maine; brother, Richard (Amy) Matsumoto of Kainaliu; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
