Senior Roundtable Hui to discuss falls
The Senior Roundtable Hui will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 2 at Pink Mocha Cafe, just mauka of Home Depot.
The topic will be, “Why We Fall.” The group will discuss what causes falling, and how to prevent it.
The format is interactive and all ages are invited. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month to discuss an aging topic with the last half hour dedicated to questions and answers on all aging topics.

Senior ID cards issued
The Coordinated Services of the Elderly Program of the Elderly Activities Division issues Senior ID cards for those age 60 or older Monday through Friday at the Aging and Disability Resource Center in Hilo.
Cards will be issued from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 2 at the Kailua-Kona Walmart, from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Hale Hauoli Senior Center in Honokaa, from 11 a.m. to noon Monday May 8 at Naalehu Community Center, from 10 a.m. to noon May 8 at the Kohala Coordinated Services of the Elderly, from 9-11 a.m. May 9 at L. Yoshimatsu Senior Center in Waimea, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16 at Yano Hall in Kealakekua, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 24 at The West Hawaii Civic Center, Building B.

Outdoor yoga for seniors offered in Keauhou
Yoga classes for those age 50 and older will be offered before the stores open at Keauhou Shopping Center at 8 a.m. every Monday and Friday May through November.
Attendees will learn and practice techniques designed to increase strength, flexibility, balance and range of motion. The classes are offered by donation.
