Benjamin Notario
Benjamin Naboa Notario, 84, of Naalehu died April 13, 2017, in Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Honolulu. Born in Agno, Pangasinan, Philippines, he was a macadamia nut picker and a member of the Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. April 28 at Naalehu Sacred Catholic Church with a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed; burial at the Naalehu Community Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Bibiana Felipe of Naalehu; daughters, Babylee (James) Reynolds of San Bruno, Calif., Gemma (Manolito) Garces of Bukidnon, Philippines, Cherish Notario and Rhoda (Joaquin) Savela of Honolulu, Vivian Notario of Wailuku, Maui; brother, Demi Notario of Chicago; sisters, Rosario Nevera of Honolulu and Loreto Naboa of Hilo; stepchildrens, Jesica Felipe of Las Vegas, Marybel Pascua of Honolulu, Alfonso Felipe and Mary Anne Galarse of Hilo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra Pia
Sandra Leimomi Pia, 70, of Pahala died March 24, 2017, on Oahu. Born Feb. 1, 1947, in Honolulu, she worked in at Dole Cannery and was also a security guard for Freeman.
Visitation will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. April 28 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo; with a 6 p.m. wake service. Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. April 29 at Pahala River of Life Assembly of God Church with a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Burial will follow at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Aloha and casual attire. Flowers and lei welcomed.
She is survived by daughters, Lorilei Pia, Vickilani Taasan and Lata (Hana) Kanakaole; sons, Louie (Ronelle) Taasan and Keola Taasan; brothers, Robert Pia, Arnold Dowling, Liborio Tamondong and Gary (Sandra) Tamondong; sisters, Winnifred (Melvin) Yokoyama and Dolores (Richard Sr.) Pagan; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gabrielle Nohea Elsielina Rodrigues, 26, of Kailua-Kona, died April 3, 2017, in Kealakekua. She was born Dec. 12, 1990, in Kealakekua. Gabrielle worked as a receptionist at Alii Health Center. She also worked at Clinical labs of Hawaii, Santad Sira Inc., Officemax, Ohana Keiki Preschool, Pine Tree Cafe and Kay’s Kitchen.
Memorial Services will be 8 a.m. April 29 at Ohana Keiki Preschool.
She is survived by spouse, Ryson; son, Kaiho’omalu Rodrigues; daughters, Kailana Rodrigues and Kaimalie Rodrigues of Kailua-Kona; parents, Jadelyn and Fred Ng of Kailua-Kona; brother, Jared Ng of Kailua-Kona; sister, Belle Ng of Kailua-Kona; maternal grandmother Evelyn Lewi of Kailua-Kona; paternal grandfather Francis Ng Sr. of Captain Cook; and numerous other loved ones

Elmer Yoneda
Elmer Yoneda, 76, of Kohala died April 13, 2017, at his residence. Born Dec. 25, 1940, in Kohala, he was retired from the State of Hawaii, Department of Accounting and General Services.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 29 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Hilo. Cremation will follow. Friends may call 8 a.m. June 3 at Sacred Heart Church, Hawi for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will be at a later date.
He is survived by daughters, Dawn (Raymond) Valenzuela and Jodi (Henry Alameda, Jr.) Yoneda of Kohala; Cheri (Elmer Ragpala) Pires of Paauhau; sister, Setsuko Kimura of Hawi; eight grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, nieces nephews and numerous cousins.
