Local student makes honor roll at Oregon State

A total of 1,241 students at the university earned an A (4.0) this semester. Another 4,481 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Honokaa resident Michaela K. Byrnes, a senior majoring in exercise and sport science, made the list.
