From 2:30-3:30 p.m. this Saturday, Davis will lead a special talk on her book, “Secret Life, Secret Death,” a true story she spent 10 years researching. It follows a young mother who fell in crime with the Mob in Chicago and later ran a shady motel in northern Wisconsin in the 1920s and 30s.
