Malia Fujikawa
Malia Pumehana Wheeler Kaupiko Fujikawa, 38, of Hilo died April 3, 2017, at the Pohai Malama Hospice Care Home in Hilo. Born Aug. 20, 1978, in Kona, she worked in the medical field.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. April 29 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Hilo with a 10:30 a.m. memorial service. Church attire, flowers, lei and food are welcome. A celebration of her life will be scheduled later. Info: Tammy, 365-6555.

Rose Marie Ferreira, 81, of Pahoa died March 29, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on March 13, 1936, in Waipahu, Oahu, she was a homemaker and member of the Paradise Park Christian Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses in Keaau.
Visitation will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. April 22 at Dodo Mortuary chapel with a 4:30 p.m. service. Casual attire and no flowers. Private burial to be held at a later date.
She is survived by daughters, Faye Ferreira of Las Vegas, Sandra (Larry) Matsumoto and Judy (Dennis) Santiago of Mountain View; Toni (Steven) Lawrence of Pahoa; brother, Rudy Arial of St. George, Utah; sisters, Loretta Edmunds of Vernon Hills, Illinois and Eleanor (Percy) Ching of Honolulu; 10 grandchildrden; one great-grandchild; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann Neula Lim, 81, of North Kohala died March 29, 2017, at Kohala Hospital. Born March 23, 1936, in Niulii, Kohala, she was a retired cook for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, a singer and a Na Hoku Hanohano Award Winning recording artist.
Family and friends may call at 5 p.m. May 19 at the Lim family residence in Kohala for an all-night celebration of life. Friends may also May 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m., with service beginning at 11. Family requests casual and aloha attire, flowers and lei are welcome. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery.
She is survived by brother, Lawrence (Lisa) Neula of California; daughters, Donna (Melvin) Amina of Manoa, Oahu, Nanette (Edward) Yap of Waikoloa, Charmaine (Sam) Davis of Kohala, Lorna Lim of Kohala; son, Elmer (Donna Marie) Lim Sr. of Kamuela; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
