Sharlynne Perry

Sharlynne Diane Klass Perry, 69, of Kailua-Kona died April 14, 2017. Born April 21, 1947, in California, she was a retired business owner and a member of Kona Bible Church.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. April 21 at Grace Community Church in Kailua-Kona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to City of Hope, Multiple Myeloma Research, cityofhope.org.

She is survived by mother, Shirley Klass; daughter, Julie (Brad) Dickie, of Kailua-Kona; son, John (Christine) Perry; sisters, Sharon Klass, Bev Lively; two grandchildren; numerous family members.

Hilario Sadumiano

A service time has been determined for Hilario Sadumiano. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. April 22 at the Old Kona Airport Pavilion, with an 11 a.m. service. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

Richard Samson

Richard Samson, 75, of Hilo died April 12,2017. He was born on April 13,1941, on Oahu.

He is survived by son, Ricardo Samson; daughters, Helena Samson and Yvette Hamalian; brother, Elliot Samson; sister, Juanita Ikeda, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice Solywoda

Alice Solywoda, 94, of Hilo died April 5, 2017, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Warsaw, Poland, she was a homemaker and member of both the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call at at noon April 25 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo for graveside urn committal services.

She is survived by sons, Thomas (Marian) Solywoda of Keaau, Andrew (Dottie) Solywoda of Pasadena, Md. and Philip (Sue) Solywoda of Hilo; daughters, Lucille (Jan) Horak of Scottsdale, Ariz., Donna (Augie) Rodriguez of Costa Mesa, Calif., Lois (John) McGuire of Mountain View; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Sarah Kilkenny-Wilson

Sarah Suzette Kilkenny-Wilson, 36, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 15, 2016. Born July 28, 1980, in Boise, Idaho, she was an artist, poet and athlete.

Services will be 11 a.m. April 22 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Boise, followed with celebration of life from noon to 5 p.m. at The Harbor Grill and Event Center, 3000 N. Lake Harbor Lane, Boise.

She is survived by parents, Christine Barrietua and Paul Wilson; husband, John Kilkenny; children, Lily and Violet of Kailua-Kona; siblings, Jennifer Loves-Wilson, of Boise, Kelsey Averett- Hobson, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jared Wilson, of Boise; grandmother, Sybil Hinatsu, of Parma, Idaho; seven nieces and nephews, 17 aunts and uncles, 71 cousins.

Larry Cooper

Larry Glenn Cooper, 62, of Kailua-Kona, died April 7, 2017, at his residence. Born Feb. 21, 1955, in Honolulu, he was a retired hospital maintenance engineer and a Navy veteran.

A motorcycle memorial run will be held April 30 beginning at The Fish Hopper. He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Cooper of Kailua-Kona; sons, Kristopher (Julie) Cooper, Brandon (Kate) Cooper, all of Modesto, Calif.; daughters, Julia Peters of Lebanon, N.H., Gina Peters of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Pamela Roberts of Simi Valley, Calif.; brother, Steve (Susan) Cooper of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
