More than 15 organizations provided resources and family activities, including carnival games, bouncers, giveaways, an arm wrestling exhibition and lots of food. Hundreds attended.
Big Island Substance Abuse Council works to inspire positive change and helps individuals and their families reclaim their lives.
“This event was very successful and we will continue to provide these types of outreach events in the future” said BISAC’s CEO, Dr. Hannah Preston-Pita. “Our next annual event, Summer Jam is scheduled for July 28, 29 and we hope to see you all there.”
