Cirque Ohana is offering a Spring Break Circus Camp from March 20-24 at the Kanu O Ka Aina Learning Ohana Gym in Waimea. Classes will be held from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. daily and are open to students 7 years and up.
The non-profit organization was created by Graham Ellis, previously the director of Puna’s HICCUP circus. Cheryl Taylor is camp director with over 50 years of experience in show business as a performer, instructor, director, producer and choreographer.
Classes will include individual, group and partner acrobatics, basic tumbling skills, aerial silks, plate-spinning, globe-walking, poi spinning, unicycling and juggling, as well as choreography, professionalism and theater arts and etiquette.
