With the recent revelations of the Attorney Generals’ meetings with the Russian Ambassador, it is becoming clear that Donald Trump has made the deal of his life to get elected president. It has been obvious for a long time that Trump admired Putin with all his comments. No one could understand why he was so complementary. At the same time the Russians had hacked the Democratic National Committee’s mail server and had access to all the emails between the DNC and party members.

So it looks like Putin made Trump an offer he couldn’t refuse. The Putin part of the deal was to see that the most embarrassing Democratic emails are selectively dribbled out all the way up to the election. If elected, Trump’s part of the deal was to get the sanctions lifted on the Russian economy, which is in bad shape, and look the other way on the Crimea and Ukraine takeovers. In addition, Trump had to say nice things about Putin and be very friendly to Russia. This scenario looks exactly like what has happened over the past year. When people got suspicious, Trump had to pretend to be tough on Russia with surrogates, but he has never said anything bad about Putin.

So now the Russians have Trump by the throat and can finish him off if he doesn’t behave. By simply publicly disclosing the “deal,” even if it’s fake and there is no documentation, the testimony of all the Russians who attended the long string of meetings with Trump’s people (who have tried to hide their meetings) would be convincing. Trump would quickly be impeached and thrown out of office.

So when Trump seems to be doing really dumb things that are bad for our country and good for Russia, remember he might be following orders from Moscow. Unfortunately, it looks like Trump sold his soul to the devil to get the love that he needs so desperately.
