Greed, greed, greed

Greed, greed, greed

The medical marijuana issue was to provide sick people with access to affordable medicine. Greed was not supposed to be part of the issue. As many of you have heard or read about this issue, you can plainly see that greed is the prime motivator.

It’s all about greed and always has been about greed. After our esteemed politicians have sat on their collective butts for the past 15 years, this is what it all comes down to — stick it to the patient.

All I hear is how much tax money the state and county are going to make and how much profit the dispensaries plan to make. More, more, more.

If you are being charged more than $9 a gram you are being ripped off. My relatives on the mainland can buy this stuff all day, every day for $9 a gram. And no, they don’t send it to me. I specifically told them not to.

So wake up, politicians, wake up Gov. David Ige. This whole program should have been run as a nonprofit. Not to pay for a train or fat pay raises for worthless politicians. It should be tax exempt, period, end of story.

Stop leftist spin

Enough with the anti-Trump rhetoric. I would think that you would have gotten all of this out of your system by now but it continues on every single issue of print. Its obvious that your paper has aligned itself with a political movement.

Your paper is not objective, you print what you want us to hear with a leftist viewpoint. I would think that most people would like to form their own opinions on what is going on in the world of politics instead of being fed all this rhetoric in a liberal perspective. You do the public a great disservice when all we get is the garbage that you print daily when there is so much going on in this world that you have failed so miserably to give us.

Whatever happened to journalism the way it was meant to be (unbiased/objective) instead of trying to force your own agenda on us?

It’s so obvious that the media has become an arm of the Democratic Party and not everyone shares your views. Trump won, let him get to work and do what he has promised to do. If he does not produce then go for it and criticize him all you want. Give him his chance to govern. And for those who cannot accept defeat, get over it.
