Hilo man reported missing

Hawaii Island police are on the lookout for a Hilo man who has been reported missing.

Authorities said in a press release that the last reported contact with Kalanihuia Forbes of Hilo, 36, came at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday evening. They believe Forbes may be in Hilo or Honokaa.

Forbes is described as a 6-foot male weighing around 230 pounds with brown eyes and medium-length black hair.

Police request anyone with information on his whereabouts contact the department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
