William Randolph
William Eugene Randolph, 94, of Waikoloa died Dec. 13, 2016, at his residence. Born April 24, 1922, in Princeton, Ind., he was a mechanical engineer involved with research and development in missile programs, and plant engineering and design of special industrial machinery with various companies. He was U.S. Army Air Corps P-51 pilot, a life member of American Ex-POW’s, life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 3 at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona. The family requests aloha attire.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Randolph of Waikoloa; son, William Randolph of Waikoloa; daughter, Carol (Isaac) Hu, also of Waikoloa; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and one cousin.

Roy Tokuyama
Roy Haruo Tokuyama, 91, of Hilo died Dec. 17, 2016, at his residence. Born April 26, 1925, in Ookala, he was the retired manager of Diamond Head Papaya Co. in Hilo. He was also World War II Army veteran.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Jan. 3 at Higashi Hongwanji Mission in Hilo with a 10 a.m memorial service. Casual attire is requested. No flowers.
He is survived by wife, Sally Tokuyama of Hilo; son, Arnold (Lynn) Tokuyama of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Susan Honda of Keaau, three grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.

Walter Ah Hee
Walter “Wally” Ah Hee, 75, of Hilo died Dec. 11, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of Wally’s Car Care and had worked at Hilo Coast Processing Co., Hilo Construction, M. Sonomura Contracting, S.K. Oda Contracting, and Ruddles Gas Station, served in the Hawaii Army National Guard, was president and member of Tenrikyo Kakaako Church, and member of Waiakea Uka Senior Softball.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Jan. 5 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 7 p.m. service. Cremation to follow. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Karen Ah Hee of Hilo; sons, Clayton (Karyl) Ah Hee of Hilo, Byron (Linda) Ah Hee of Mililani, Oahu, Allen (Alfreda Rapoza) Ah Hee of Hilo; brothers, Lloyd (Phyllis) Ah Hee of Mililani, Oahu, Norman (Kai) Ah Hee of Kona; sister, Judy (Dominic Uyetake) Ah Hee of Hilo; six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Susan Young
Susan Marie Somers Young, 68, of Waikoloa died Dec. 21, 2016, at her residence. Born April 15, 1948, in Berkeley, Calif., she was a retired sales manager for Dolphin Gallery, a jewelry sales associate, member of Waikoloa Community Church and a volunteer for numerous community organizations.

James Samuel Levy, 84, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 26, 2016, at his residence. Born May 21, 1932, in Tucson, Ariz., he was retired.

Peter Naftzger
Peter Charles Naftzger, 50, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 26, 2016. He was born Nov. 11, 1966, in Mountain View, Calif.

Dorothy Elizabeth Nishie, 84, of Waiaka died Dec. 17, 2016, at her home. Born in Waiaka, she was a rancher and assistant housekeeper at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea First Ward.

She is survived by daughter, Lakme Nishie of Waiaka; son, Bruce Nishie of Waimea; sisters, Grace Inamine and Barbara Robertson of Waiaka; brother, Anthony (Noelani) Phillips Jr. of Waiaka; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
