Prospect Mortgage opens Kona office

Prospect Mortgage, one of the nation’s largest independent residential retail lenders, announced the opening of its new Kona branch on Hawaii Island. The office is located at 75-5591 Palani Road, Ste. 2008A in Kailua-Kona’s Lanihau Professional Center. Led by loan officers Leslie Woods and Ronnie Strickler, the location will serve the community’s first-time homebuyers and investors.

“Big Island neighborhoods are not cookie-cutter suburbs and the public has access to all beaches here. This island is unique in that it allows you to live in whatever climate you prefer. You can visit snow on Mauna Kea and experience the lava flows of Kilauea up close and personal. We have sea turtles that sunbathe regularly on the Kona Coast,” Strickler said. “Big Island has it all —and is certainly more affordable when compared to Oahu, Maui or Kauai.”

Strickler is a senior loan officer for Prospect Mortgage with 22 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Woods is a loan officer for Prospect Mortgage with 11 years of experience.
