Safety reasons? More like attention seeking

I have not been able to understand why when the president visits Hawaii, he needs to come with an entourage of Secret Service people and a caravan of vehicles that cause nothing but traffic snarl, vast confusion and inconvenience to those on the island.

Causing all this congestion to the public doesn’t make sense when he has at his command the Navy at Pearl Harbor, the Air Force at Hickam Field, the Army at Schofield Barracks and the Marine Corp in his backyard at the Kaneohe Marine Base, not to mention the National Guard. All this military at his disposal that could, with very little effort, accomplish what it takes to keep him safe while he is here on the island.

Is it that he wants to be seen as an emperor or some sort of monarch?

Great musician still remembered

As far as the late, great Mackey Feary is concerned, I only remember the good times when I knew him, which I consider gold. Mackey Feary’s tremendous talent as a musician is second to none for he is the closest thing to a natural in the realm of the music world. Mackey’s music has touched and continues to touch the lives of many throughout the world and will remain that way forever.

Mackey Feary’s originals like “Night Bird,” “The Hurt” and “In Your Eyes” done with legendary contemporary Hawaiian musical group Kalapana are timeless and continues to hit the radio circuits throughout the globe. This is a testament to Feary’s genius as he is one of the greatest songwriters, vocalists, guitar players, bass players and keyboardists.

All in all, Mackey Feary’s music will live on forever for he is that great. Although Mackey passed away in 1999, his music continues to touch the lives of many throughout the world. I am writing this letter because the great Mackey Feary deserves his good publicity for he was a fine individual.
