Hawaii designer Carrington Manaola Yap will display his hand-carved designs at a special three day pop-up boutique and trunk show Dec 16-18 in the resort’s Kohala Room.
The trunk show will be open to the public this Friday and Saturday 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. On Friday at 6 p.m., Yap will host a special meet and greet reception. A Manaola fashion show take place at Mauna Kea’s Sunday Brunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. with reservations required.
Inspired by his cultural upbringing as part of North Kohala’s famous Lim Family and as a native Hawaiian hula practitioner, Manaola is known for translating Hawaii’s beauty into prints that reflect the symmetry of nature.
