Marian Miller
Marian Faye Miller, 85, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 28, 2016, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Oct. 16, 1931, in Indianola, Iowa, she was a homemaker and member of The Kona English Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. Dec. 17 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with a 5:30 p.m. service.
She is survived by daughter, Roxanne Obrecht; brothers, Donald Creger of Eugene, Oregon, John Creger of Dylan, Montana; sisters, Jean (Dean) Fedler of Iowa City, Iowa, Betty (Jerry) Still of Springfield, Oregon; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty-Lou Leslie
Betty-Lou Pualani Deniz Leslie, 78, of Keaukaha died Nov. 25, 2016, at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born April 28, 1938, in Honolulu, she worked as a stenographer for the Hawaii Judiciary Court, retired as a housekeeper for Uncle Billy’s Hotel.
Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 16 at Ballard Family Mortuary- Hilo with a 10:30 a.m. service. Condolences may be posted at ballardfamilymortuaries.com.
She is survived by son, John (Maxine) Leslie of Keaukaha; daughters, Karen Pualani Leslie of Kapaa, Kauai, Sharon (Alan) Tavares of Keaau, Betty-Ann (Bobbie) Leslie of Hilo; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tsuyako Hokama
Tsuyako “Sue” Hokama, 85, of Piihonua died Nov. 8, 2016, at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama. Born April 25, 1931, in Holualoa, she was the president and owner of Alumside Products Inc. in Hilo and member of Hilo Hooganji Mission, Piihonua Community Association and Hui Okinawa.
Private Services held. No flowers, no monetary gifts. Contributions in memory of Sue may be made to Hospice of Hilo at 1011 Waianuenue Ave. Hilo, HI 96720.
She is survived by son, Conrad (Amy Miwa) Hokama of Hilo; daughter, Marsha (Gary Yamasaki) Hokama of Hilo; one grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
