The lobby in the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel is full of decorated Christmas trees. Thirty-seven to be exact. The hotel is hosting the 23 annual Charity Tree event.
Visitors donate $1 to vote for their favorite tree now through 6 p.m. on Dec. 22, when winners will be announced.
The first place tree’s charity will receive $2,000, second place $1,000 and third place $500. Donations from voting will be split between the remaining charities.
