Alice Yoshida
Alice Mae Yoshida, 83, of Mountain View died Nov. 17, 2016, at The Queen’s Medical Center West on Oahu. Born March 24, 1933, in Hakalau, she was a homemaker.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Dec. 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo with an 11 a.m. service. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo.
Casual attire is requested.
She is survived by sons, Dennis (Carol) Yoshida of Mountain View, Gregory (Grace) Yoshida of Hilo; daughters, Brenda (Raymond) Izuno of Hilo and Charlene (Harry) Shupe of Honolulu; brother, Joseph Ferreira of Hilo; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Ronald Kipi
Ronald Joseph Kipi, 76, of Hilo died Nov. 27, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired kitchen worker for Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council, heavy equipment operator for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call from 9:30–10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10:30 a.m. prayer service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
He is survived by brother, Moses (Carla) Kipi Jr. of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pui Kow
Pui Hung Kow, 83, of Hilo died Nov. 17, 2016, at Foster’s Care Home. Born May 12, 1933, in Canton, China, he was a retired restaurant owner.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Dec. 12 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at Mauna Kea Cemetery. The family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by mother of his children, Kam Shui Kow of Hilo; sons, Clifford (Candace) Kow of Kailua-Kona, Charles (Jeanette) Kow of Hilo; daughter, Pearl Park of Hilo; brothers, Raymond (Eva) Kow, Robin (Becky) Kow, all of Hilo, Ronald (Helen) Kow of Michigan,; sisters, Mary Wong of California, Margaret Arruda and Mabel Reyes, both of Hilo; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Julia Alika, 78, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 20, 2016, at Bernadette’s Care Home. Born June 12, 1938, in Kealakekua. She was disabled. No services are planned.
She is survived by daughter, Laurene (Gregory Tripp) Alika of Kailua-Kona; brother, Lloyd (Diane) Cunningham of Missouri; sisters, Lorna (Lou) Delbarba of Arizona, and Beverly Evans of Seattle; one grandson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Albert DeCuyper
Albert Charles DeCuyper, 87, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 2, 2016, at his residence. Born April 17, 1929, in St. Bonafice, Winnepeg, Canada, he was an electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 6.
Private services and scattering of his ashes were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Kona.
He is survived by wife, Adele DeCuyper of Kailua-Kona; sons, Ryan DeCuyper of Canada, Randy DeCuyper and John DeCuyper, both of California; daughter, Carol Ann Cannon of California; stepdaughter, Irene Jordet of Alaska, stepson, Peter Boyd of California; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Robert McDonough Sr.
Robert “Bob” Edmund McDonough Sr., 87, of Waimea died Nov. 1, 2016, at his residence. Born Aug. 20, 1929, in Orange, N.J., he was the owner of the former RE McDonough Retread Co. in Honolulu, former manager of HPM Waimea, recipient of the 1977 Governor George Ariyoshi Business Man of the Year Award and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by wife, Florence McDonough; sons, Robert (Jean) McDonough all of Waimea, Chris McDonough of Honolulu, Michael McDonough of Waimea, Brian (Patricia) McDonough of Arizona; sister, Marie (Jack) Drury of Florida; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Takeyo Otsu Takahashi, 96, of Hilo died Nov. 15, 2016, at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Kaumana, she was a retired bookkeeper and member of the Hilo Meishoin Mission and Hilo Yacht Club.

She is survived by daughter, Audrey (Ronald) Furukawa of Keaau; son, Clyde (Sharon) Takahashi of Katy, Texas, Robin (Karin) Takahashi of Hilo; brother, Harold Otsu; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
