Hawaii Cycling Club: Kohala time trial
All cyclists are invited to join Hawaii Cycling Club on Dec. 4 at 9 a.m for a fun time trial — or just a somewhat hilly ride — as HCC unleashes the second annual Kohala Training Time Trial or Sunday Ride.
The Kohala is the last of HCC’s 2016 events, and you can make it a ride or a time trial, with untimed riders heading out 10 — 25 minutes before the new 9 a.m. start of the Time Trial.
Registration will be from 8:30-8:45 a.m. east of Hawi town on Waipiele St. (approximately 0.2 miles east of the center of Hawi).
Like all HCC events it is free to HCC members. Non-members can sign up at registration for a $10 one-day membership.
There will be nutritional support at the talk story/aid station at the summit so you can carry only what you need going up; you’ll be able to reload at the summit.
Visit hawaiicyclingclub.com or Hawaii Cycling Club on Facebook for information on HCC events, sponsors and much, much more.
