Big Island Music Academy, in collaboration with the Edible World Institute, presents the “Island Jam Extravaganza” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 in Kailua-Kona.

More than 45 keiki and teen performers from Kona will perform live music for a night of food and entertainment. Located at 75-5699 Kopiko St., across from The Club, the Edible World Institute will provide dinner while guests enjoy jazz, ukulele, reggae, blues, Hawaiian and popular music played by student performers.

Kona Dance and Performing Arts will also be present with its experienced tap dancers that will jam with the jazz band.

Big Island Music Academy provides instruction in ukulele, drums, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, bass, and piano along with vocal lessons.

The concert is a fundraiser for BIMA and for the Edible World Institute, both aiming to provide artistic opportunities for the youth in the community. Tickets are $15 and dinner is included. Tickets are available at the door.
