Lisa Louise Adams will host two sessions of her six-week handbuilding with clay workshop during November at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus.
“Handbuilding” is working with clay by hand using only simple tools, not the pottery wheel to build bowls, vases and other forms in various shapes and sizes.
Evening and afternoon sessions will be offered. Tuesday evening sessions, 6:30-8:30 p.m., start Nov. 8; and Thursday afternoon sessions, 2:30-4:30 p.m., start Nov. 10.
Cost for either workshop is $113 for VAC members and $125 for nonmembers, in addition to a $13 materials fee.
