The class includes fundamental yoga poses students generally learn within their first year of practice. Although not specifically a beginner’s class, the movement sequence can easily accommodate students new to yoga or returning to a yoga practice.
Knitting &Knitting Support is every Tuesday from 12:30—3 p.m. with Gretchen Geisler, a lifetime knitter, pattern designer and fiber artist. The class is for ages 10 to adult at all skill levels. Bring projects, get knitting questions answered and visit with other knitters. Beginners will be guided into a suitable project.
Mama-Fit Club for Women is every Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. with Ranya, Kate, Ilene and Krish. A fun video workout is used for all levels of fitness, whether preparing the body for pregnancy or trying to get it back afterward. Keiki can play during the workout. The class is open to all women, with or without children. Wear comfortable clothes and exercise shoes. Bring water, a towel, yoga mat and lightweights or resistance bands if possible.
