KAILUA-KONA — Community Policing Officers met with the public on Wednesday for Coffee with a Cop. The event, previously held in South Kohala and Waimea, was hosted by San Francisco Bay Coffee Company on Alii Drive.
“When we did this up in South Kohala people were asking when are we going to do this in Kona,” said Sgt. Roylen Valera.
Future opportunities to meet police officers in Kona are in the planning stage and will be announced later.
