Lily Yuriko Inouye, 93, of Hilo died Sept. 7, 2016, at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born June 5, 1923, in Honolulu, she was a member of Church of the Holy Cross, Zonta Club of Hilo, Y’s Men and Women’s Club, Hawaii Shima Kumamoto Doshi Kai and Club Wednesday Golf Club.
Friends may call at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Church of the Holy Cross in Hilo for a 5 p.m. celebration of life. Casual attire is requested. No monetary offerings.
She is survived by sons, Gordon (Mieke) Inouye of Papaikou, Vernon (Lorraine) Inouye of Hilo, Grayson Inouye of Hilo; daughter, Adrianne Lamson of Hilo; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Isaac Kekaulike “Buddy” Kamoku Jr., 62, of Hilo died Sept. 7, 2016. He was a former County of Hawaii lifeguard, policeman, fire rescue specialist and athlete.

Karin Eva Hanson, 76, of Captain Cook died Aug. 25, 2016, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born March 26, 1940, in Germany, she was a cosmetologist.

Jon-Daniel “JD” Yukito Sakamoto died Aug. 16, 2016. Born April 25, 1988, in Kealakekua, he was a corporate bar trainer and bartender at the Hard Rock Cafe International and a bartender at Soho House West Hollywood, Calif.
