Naomi Okimoto
Naomi Lei Okimoto, 78, of Hilo died Sept. 6, 2016, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born in Los Angeles, she was a retired teacher.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 14 at the Hilo United Methodist Church for a noon service. The family requests casual attire and no flowers.
She is survived by sister, Claire (Francis) Thompson of Los Angeles; numerous cousins, two nephews and a niece.

Irene Taeko Shintani, 73, of California died Sept. 4, 2016, in California. Born Sept. 15, 1942, in Hilo, she was retired from UPS in California.

She is survived by sons, John Nishimoto of Hilo, Duane (Aileen) Nishimoto of Kurtistown, Randy (Jennifer) Kimura of California; brothers, Masaichi (Dorothy) Shintani, Jimmy (Jane) Shintani, Ronald (Janice) Shintani, Glenn Shintani, all of Honolulu; sisters, Joyce (Wilfred) Itagaki, Violet Yoshida, both of Honolulu, Janice (Eugene) Koya of Hilo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Eloise Leialoha Kama, 79, of Hilo died Aug. 28, 2016, at the Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation &Nursing Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired housekeeping supervisor for Waiakea Villas and for the former Travelodge. She was also a member of Hale Pule Ke Ola Hou Church.
Friends may call 4 p.m. Sept. 15 at New Hope Hilo for a 6 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 9 a.m. Sept. 16 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 for a graveside committal service. The family requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

Dorothy Vitiello
Dorothy Louise Vitiello, 86, of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 3, 2016, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Sept. 14, 1929, in Chicago, she was a homemaker.
Private services will be held in Tennessee.
She is survived by sons, Thomas (Annette) Vitiello of Pawtucket, R.I., J. Anthony Vitiello of Richmond, Va.; daughters, Michele Vitiello of Pawtucket, R.I, Paula (Robert) Sanders of Kailua-Kona; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
