Bryson Evangelista-Samson
Bryson Kanamu Evangelista-Samson, 22, of Hilo died Aug. 23, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 5, 1994, in Hilo, he was a former pool and beach attendant for Ocean Sports and a member of New Hope – Hilo.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Sept. 10 at New Hope – Hilo for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Scattering of his ashes will be at 2 p.m. at 4 Miles Beach Park. Casual attire and flowers welcomed.
He is survived by parents, Davlyn Samson of Hilo, Ben and Sonja Evangelista of Honolulu; stepfather, Mark Cabral of Puna; brothers, Dustin Samson of Hilo, Austin Evangelista, Ashton Evangelista, Tristan Evangelista, all of Honolulu; sisters, Tatyana Cabral-Samson, Tania Cabral-Samson, Tiade Cabral-Samson, all of Hilo; grandparents, Joanne and John De Leon, Sandra Smith, all of Mountain View; uncles, Troy Samson of Puna, Amos (Ikaika Moreno) Smith Jr. of Hilo and Butch Smith of Mountain View; aunt, Daisy (Jesse Tilton) Tilton-Samson of Volcano; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Irineo Agustin
Irineo Gumayagay Agustin, 77, of Keaau died Aug. 12, 2016, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born June 23, 1939, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 10 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Casual attire and no flowers. A service and burial will be held later in the Philippines.
He is survived by wife, Tomasa Agustin of Keaau; daughter, Vilma (Gilbert) Padamada of Keaau; seven grandchildren; sisters, Victoria Cristobal and Faustina Agustin of Philippines; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Fumiko Moriuchi
Fumiko Moriuchi, 98, of Hilo died July 31, 2016, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Kapaa, Kauai, she was a homemaker and a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Private services were held. Family requests no flowers and monetary gifts.
She is survived by daughters, Vinnie Shishido of Hilo, Lurline (Andrew) Hirata of Keaau; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Damasa Salazar
Damasa Sajor Salazar, 90, of Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines died Aug. 24, 2016, in Bellevue, Wash.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 10 at Naalehu Assembly of God Church for a 10:30 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Naalehu Community Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Salazar residence in Naalehu.
She is survived by daughters, Connie (Eugene Jr.) Sutin and Nattie (Gregory) Kuo of Bellevue, Wash.; brother, Delfin (Antoinette) Sajor of Lahaina, Maui; sister, Anita Ramos of Mindanao, Philippines; three grandchildren.
