Charity dog wash premieres Sept. 10

A Bark Above Dog Grooming & Boarding and Lava Dogs Hawaii are hosting the event at Aina Hou Animal Hospital lawn in Waimea from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sept. 10.

Pet adoptions, vendors, photo shoots, food and drink will be offered.

A suggested donation of $10 includes bath and boarding afterwards. Dog owners are asked to bring a drying towel to donate to the Hawaii Island Humane Society shelter in Waimea.
