The Blue Sea Artisans is moving to the Keauhou Shopping Center and will occupy the former gallery space of Pele’s Hokulele. A grand opening will be held Oct. 1 at the new location.

The gallery will have a moving sale at its current gallery in the Kona International Market from Thursday through Sept. 21, with all art by member artists available at reduced prices.

Blue Sea Artisans was founded in 2009 by Teresea Boswell at the Kona International Market, where she hosted a variety of local artists. In May 2013, she turned the gallery over to its members to form a true cooperative gallery, with nine original members and eight guest artists.

The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
