Omidyar Fellows announced last week 14 emerging executives selected for their 2016-2017 program. The list includes Kamuela residents Kyle Chock, assistant executive secretary-treasurer of Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters and Richard Matsuda, chief of operations at W. M. Keck Observatory.
Individuals were selected based on their accomplishments and promise they show in professional and community leadership. A program of the Hawaii Leadership Forum, it commences in October with a curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant. The initial 15 months will include one full-day session each month, executive coaching and conversations with community, business and government leaders.
