Legendary group Air Supply will perform Oct. 15 in Kailua-Kona.

The Kona appearance marks Air Supply’s 40th anniversary as a musical group. In 1980, “Lost in Love” became the fastest selling single in the world, leaping to the top of all of the charts. The second single “All Out of Love,” and that went up the charts even quicker. This concert culminates the third of a three night Hawaii engagement on Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island.

Air Supply, comprising Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell, brings decades of hits to the live stage. The albums “Lost in Love,” “The One That You Love,” “Now &Forever,” and “The Greatest Hits” sold in excess of 20 million copies. “Lost in Love” was named Song of the Year in 1980, and, with the other singles, sold more than 10 million copies.

The Oct. 15 Ray Jr. &Tantriq Entertainment concert is 7 p.m. at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, and is for adults age 21 and older. Tickets start at $59. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel front desk, CD Wizard, and Oshima Surf and Skate stores or online at www.tmrevents.net.
