At the Kona Hotel, Kira Kamamalu’s art studio will again be offering “Social Artworking” where adults and teens can sign up to create their own original painting with guidance from Kira. Cost is $45 and, along with canvas, paints and supplies, there will be wine for adults and juice for artists under 21. (Email kamamalu@me.com to RSVP)

Pat Pearlman Designs, also in the Kona Hotel, is spotlighting the August birthstone peridot; a gem quality olivine known for prosperity, happiness and cellular regeneration.

Holualoa Gallery is hosting Holoholoz Fresh Fish Truck and Kona Dogs Gourmet Street Food outside and artist William Wingert will be working on a painting inside. Owners/artists Matthew and Mary Lovein will be on hand to meet and greet visitors.
