Volcano Art Center will offer two sessions of an after school clay for kids workshop starting next month. The six-week workshop will demonstrate engineering techniques that are important in working and firing clay successfully. Kids will also get to experience the tactile nature of clay and how it accepts textures.
Volcano Art Center will offer two sessions of an after school clay for kids workshop starting next month. The six-week workshop will demonstrate engineering techniques that are important in working and firing clay successfully. Kids will also get to experience the tactile nature of clay and how it accepts textures.
The workshop, taught by Lisa Louise Adams, will be split into two sessions. For kids age 6-9, a workshop will be held on Wednesdays starting Aug. 10. For kids age 9-12, a workshop will be held on Tuesdays starting Aug. 9. Both will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Cost is $50 for VAC members and $55 for nonmembers, in addition to a $15 materials fee.
