He is survived by wife, Shannel Ahia of Kurtistown; sons, Dustin Ahia-Vincent of Hilo, Kinohi Galdeira, Kalaealoha Ahia and Hilinai Ahia, all of Kurtistown; daughter, Lilinoe Ahia of Kurtistown; parents, Al Kalae and Judith Ahia of Kurtistown; three grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

June Yasuko Kawakami, 57, of Hilo died July 9, 2016, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Japan.

Joycelyn Leimomi Nabarro, 60, of Hilo died July 7, 2016, at home. Born in Hilo, she worked in hospitality at Ala Moana Hotel and Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.
